ASL Community Classes
The classes will be meeting one day a week for 1 and 1/2 hours.
ASL 1 - Starts: Wednesday, March 4th. 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Cost: $100
Location: 5000 Central Ave SE, Suite 117. The DCCNM Events room. This is located in the PAH! Hiland Plaza Apartments building on the first floor.
Materials: Books are not required.
NOTE: All refund requests must be in writing and emailed to asl@dcc-nm.org 7 days before the first day of class.
DCCNM's Community ASL classes are taught by a Deaf teacher, allowing learners to experience immersion within the language.
This class is ideal for parents of Deaf children, Hearing teachers with Deaf students, families with Deaf relatives and friends, employees, and employers who interact with people using ASL. People who are losing their hearing and need a visual mode of communication.
DCCNM hosts regular events that students are encouraged to attend to challenge their newly acquired skills.
